The Ohio State Tractor Pullers Association (OSTPA) and Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League (PPL) are proud to sanction the 1st Ohio State Championship Pull at the Darke County Steam Threshers' grounds.
This is a benefit pull, all profits of the pull will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. JDRF of Greater Dayton is proud to be associated with the Ohio State Championship Pull and hopes it will be a great success.
Currently slated for the 1st event is four OSTPA classes. Starting with the mix of wheel standing diesel smoke & alcohol, Columbus Diesel Super Stocks; the ground pounding multi-engine Crow's Hybrid Seed Modifieds; the brute strength of the SCS Gearbox Super Modified FWD trucks; and by invitation only the heaviest class in the World, the 20,000 lb Carroll's Truck Parts Pro Stock Semis.
The OSTPA Championship Pulling Circuit includes some 33 events throughout Ohio during 2008 between June and September.
The Ohio State Tractor Pullers Association is a 40 year-old non-profit organization that sanctions Truck and Tractor pulling throughout Ohio. The OSTPA is member-owned by pullers and governed by an executive board. OSTPA is associated with the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League.
The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League is owned by Lucas Oil Products and supported by several corporate business partners: Dixie Chopper, R&L Carriers, Torco Fuels, General Tire, Summit Racing, K&N Filters, KC Hilites, Super Chips, Jim Beam, Fatheadz Eyewear, and Super Clean.
